DESCRIPTION:Irving Penn (1917\, Plainfield – 2009\, New York) a profondément marqué l’histoire de la photographie de mode grâce à sa collaboration de plus de soixante ans avec le magazine Vogue. Son esthétique épurée\, comme son exceptionnelle maîtrise de la composition\, ont influencé des générations de photographes.L’exposition se déploie selon un parcours chronologique\, suivant la carrière du photographe de 1947 à 2008. Elle est majoritairement conçue à partir de collection de la MEP\, en étroite collaboration avec The Irving Penn Foundation et la Nicola Erni Collection.
