DESCRIPTION:La Maison de Ma Région à Castres organise et vous invite gratuitement à l’exposition « CALLIGRAPHIES » de l’artiste Christian Brotons\, qui aura lieu du 1er au 31 octobre 2024. \nPour assister au vernissage en présence de Christian Brotons\, le mardi 1er octobre 2024 à 18h\, nous vous invitons à vous inscrire par mail à maisonregion.castres@laregion.fr ou par téléphone 05 61 33 48 42 \nChristian Brotons\, calligraphie occidentale contemporaine\nParcours :\n1959 – naissance à Montauban\n1989 – découverte de la calligraphie latine et débuts de l’apprentissage en autodidacte.\n1996 – rencontre avec Kitty Sabatier\, calligraphe toulousaine\, qui entraîne une orientation de son travail vers la calligraphie occidentale contemporaine par la libération du geste.\n2013 – première exposition à Castres\n2017 – début de l’enseignement \n« Scribe des temps modernes\, je suis calligraphe » \nChristian Brotons aime à se définir comme un scribe des temps modernes.\nIl expose son travail dans l’objectif de faire découvrir cet art méconnu au plus grand nombre.\nSes installations toutes en suspensions sur des supports variés démontrent que la calligraphie est bien encrée dans l’art contemporain.\nDans le même esprit\, il développe un enseignement pour tous les niveaux.
