DESCRIPTION:Le Palais de Tokyo propose la première rétrospective de Cathy de Monchaux\, figure majeure de la scène artistique britannique à travers un ensemble d’une cinquantaine d’œuvres datant de 1984 à aujourd’hui. L’exposition nous tiraille entre désirs et dangers épidermiques\, réunissant des dessins techniques\, des archives d’œuvres détruites\, des sculptures et installations\, verticales ou horizontales\, au mur ou au sol ; l’artiste malmène les repères\, en particulier de la phallocratie du langage philosophique et artistique.
